Charlie and Stan premiered at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in 2019 and has since toured the UK three times to an array of leading venues including Wilton's Music Hall London, Minack Theatre Cornwall, York Theatre Royal and Royal & Derngate, Northampton. The show has also been seen at Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, and in summer 2025 was staged on the Queen Mary 2 oceanliner, on a transatlantic voyage from Southampton to New York - echoing the journey Charlie and Stan took in 1910. Told by an Idiot's family show, Get Happy was invited to participate in the 2017 Beijing Comedy Festival and their production My Perfect Mind was screened at the Jinxi Ancient Town Art Festival in 2020.

Paul Hunter is co-founder and Artistic Director of Told by an Idiot. Paul has worked on all Told by an Idiot shows to date as director/writer/performer.
